For Practicing Chartered Accountants and Age Below 60 Year

- For Every Calendar year 30 hours to be completed ( Min. 20 hours under structured)

For Non Practicing Chartered Accountants

- For Every Calendar year 15 hours (Structured or Unstructured)

Structured Hours means: Registered by making payment to ICAI

and Unstructured Hours means atteding freely in ICAI Bangalore In a week two day free CPE hours will be conducted by ICAI normally. Any member can go and attend

I advice all The CA's Practicing or Non Practicing to attend and Finish CPE hours and do not postponde it.

ICAI has all Track and it may cause some issues, better to be safer side

I think its not every year 30 hours but 90 hours in a period of 3 years. ICAI website mentions 90 hours in a period of 3 years.

Structured is 20 hours each year.

What is the fine or penalty if we dont complete CPE hours?

Its 30 hours each year. Out of this 20 hours needs to be structured. Kindly note that this time there is no extension being granted for taking CPE Credit.
