I was trying to file IEC code application online but when i visited the website dgft.gov.in/ieconline.htm, it shows a Java error. The error message is as under:

"java.net.SocketPermission" "164.100.128.143:8100" "connect,resolve"

Can any body help me wrt this ?

This could be because of security setting in your JAVA or browser.

Go to control panel and open JAVA. In security tab, set the security to lowest level and apply.

I think this will solve the issue, as most of the people have same issue.

Try in Internet Explorer instead of chrome or mozila. Sometime, few government sites does work properly in IE only.

I tried this also but it did not work. I tried with all the options like reducing the security level, java update. It is working in some others system. Kindly let me know how to deal with these kind of errors.

Thank you Ajay for your reply. It will benefit others who have problem in java. Java is funny when it comes to security settings.

Firtly it allows third parties to create softwares and than blocks them.

Thanks for the solution. But now I face another problem.

IO INPUT EXCEPTION

ERROR WHILE RECEIVING INPUT

Server returned HTTP response code: 500  for URL:  http://164.100.128.143:8100/dgft/DbServ3

I have used my eToken on this laptop eaven earlier but since yesterday this problem emerged. I have cleaned the cache, deleted browsing history. I have Java 7 Update 75.  I use Windows 8.1.  I have a high speed broadband connection. In the JAVA security, the "143:811" was already enabled as I have been using my eToken even earlier.  How to fix this problem?
