Everyone above 18 nust have the voter id. If we dont vote, we dont have the right to speak against government.

So its our duty to get the voter id. The various steps to get voter id are:

1. Go to your local Election officer and fill the forms, once address varification is done you will get the voter id.

2. Go to any of the online registration site and fill the form. Take print and after taking print submit it at the office of your local Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

Its better to use the online services, one such site is from Tata tea. All of us have watched the TATA tea jagore ads. The initiation is bu TATA tea and you visit the site here.

After you get your name in the voter list many a times you may not receive the voter card & you also will not be aware if your name is appearing in the voter list. For this purpose in karnataka we have a web site where in you can track your details & take a print of the same. With these details also you can go for voting.
