Section 2(40) “financial statement” in relation to a company, includes—
(i) a balance sheet as at the end of the financial year;
(ii) a profit and loss account, or in the case of a company carrying on any
activity not for profit, an income and expenditure account for the financial year;
(iii) cash flow statement for the financial year;
(iv) a statement of changes in equity, if applicable; and
(v) any explanatory note annexed to, or forming part of, any document
referred to in sub-clause (i) to sub-clause (iv):
The above definition of Financial statements as per companies act 2013 includes a statement of changes in Equity SOCE as one of the FS. But no listed or other company who have published their balance sheets for 31/3/2015 have included this Any idea why??

The normal format of Statement of Changes in Equity can be seen in this link:

There is no specific format prescribed. But notes to Balance sheet including reserves disclose same information as your link has.

This topic is discussed elsewhere you are aware of. If there is any seperate format, will be learning a news thing.

But my experiance even with Big4, we do not have any such format and the same information is disclosed as part of notes.

Sorry Friend, but it is not the same. The format which is refered by me is part of all financial statements under US GAAP for many years now. With all due respect, I would not like to believe that all that the big 4 do or follow is authentic or necessarily right.
