After introduction of companies act 2013, many rules and regualtion governing companies have changed. Earlier for Din-1 was required to be filed for DIN along with affidavit from applicant.

What are the new procedure to get the Din as per companies act 2013 and rules thereto?

Forms and procedure both have changed after companies act 2013 is implemented. Even the cost has gone up.

Here is the procedure to obtain DIN for directors:

Download For DIR-3 from MCA website. Note that MCA keeps changing the forms from time to time, its adviced that everytime you download a fresh form.

Download form DIR-4 from MCA, its a editable form and should be printed on a stamp paper. Form DIR-4 is an affidavit, it should be self signed and notarised.

You can download form DIR-4 in word format by clicking on this link  Form-DIR-4 in word format.docx

Fill the Form DIR-4 get it notarised. Once the affidavit is ready.

Fill the form DIR-3. Attach Photo, Pan card for identity proof and one address proof. Also attach form DIR-4.

Once form is filled and all required documents are attached. Click on check form. Once check is velidated.

Applicant have to digitally sign the form using Digital Signature (DSC). After applicant have signed the form, form needs to be signed by a Chartered Accountant or CS etc.

Scrutiny the form and upload the form. A fee of 500 has to be paid to obtain the DIN.

Once form is uploaded and fees is paid, you will get DIN immediately.
