Should the quality of service be provided in direct proportion to Service charges received?
Any professional service requires a minimum expertise. Professionals have different client to deal with.
Some pay high and some pay low. The cost incurred on maintaining the clients also vary.
We love the client which pay more, and hate the one which pay less but give more work.
Specially in accounting field, the work is less in professionaly manged companies compared to LALA chhap entities. These well managed companies pay higher compared to Lalas.
Should the quality of our services be in direct proportion to fees received?
Everyone have types of clients. Some clients can differentiate the quality and quantity, some can't.
If we have clients with different paying rates, the reasons to accept a low paying client may be:
- Hope of getting further references from the client and thus recovering your cost by charging more to them
- Getting entry in friend circle of client to get more business
- Resources are unutilised
- Hope of increasing the fees later after impressing the client with quality of work
On part of the quality of service, i dont agree. The quality should never be in proportion to the fees charge. A bad service wuality will get you a bad name.
We have sites on which review the businesses, one negative entry can effect the goodwill of your firm.
If you feel that you are not going to achieve any benefit from the client even after charging him less, its better you drop the client but dont degrade you quality.
Clients also have to understand that CHEAP(Fees,Service).
