while people wait eagerly for weekend, here's one more relaxing show which people would enjoy it to the core.

"Comedy Nights with Kapil"

Comedy Nights with Kapil is a comedy show which provides a distinctive take on the everyday life of a common man as the show explores the story of every household and how our common man Kapil is affected by the simplest issues in life around him.
The show consists of a talented cast portraying various roles starting with the wife Mrs. Sharma played by Sumona Chakravarti, the interfering Daadi played by Ali Asgar, the unmarried Bua played by Upasana Singh, an annoying servant played by Naseem Vicky, and Kapil’s secretary played by Soni Singh. Talented theatre actor and comedian Sunil Grover will also be seen donning several unconventional characters throughout the series.

The show is a big hit due to the following reasons.

1. focuses on social issues.

2. Invited guests on show.

3. Great standup comedian.

4. great cast.

5. Interaction with audience.

and last but not the least simple single liner punches.

The silly dialogues are very famous in show like "Babji ka thullu", Gutthi ......

Yes, off course "Comedy Nights with Kapil" is a great comedy show at least for hindi channels viewers, I totally enjoy it and I myself a huge fan of Kapil Sharma after Raju Srivastava in the category of standup comedian. But I have a doubt regarding this post I do not find any topic of the show which main focus was any social issues. Can you elaborate how you found this show co-relaed on the topic of social issues. Except this reason I am fully agree with other reasons you mentioned in your post.

hi Sagarika,

not all episodes focus on social issues, but if i recall it correctly a few starting shows had a theme on dowry, child labour, etc etc, the main focus is not on these issues, but a pinch of thought is shared on various such topics.
